    When you light your candle for the first time, let it burn for at least 3 hours so the top layer melts for an even burn.

    Trim wick to ¼ inch prior to each lighting. Place on a safe non-flammable surface. Keep away from drafts and walls. Burn no longer than 3 to 4 hours at a time. . Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.
